Just in from the shoemakers at Alden is this whiskey toned, pebble grain dress loafer. Shoes from Alden, as many of you know, are a work of art, but the special leather takes this shoe to another level. All the hallmarks of handcrafted artistry will be evident upon your initial inspection, but it’s when you slip these beautiful shoes on your feet that you will feel the expertise of an artist’s hand. These loafers will look great with flannels or cords that are paired with your favorite sport jacket. If your closet allows, these shoes will work with any number of country tweed suits. And as we are showing here, they are nicely enhanced with new socks from Nigel Knox.
This is an exclusive make up shoe just for M. S. McClellan, so when they are gone …. they are gone.
Come in soon and try a pair on!

The details matter …..
It’s true in all things, but even more so in the sartorial arts….the details matter. It’s the small touches that often get noticed as the mark of a well dressed man. Little things like pocket squares, hosery, and braces all make a statement of their own. So do the little treasures featured in this blog. Cuff links truly allow your personality to come through with equal parts elegance and whimsy.
And sometimes, as with cuff links from Jan Leslie, the details are really cool like mother of pearl tusks, moving bulldog mouths, spinning globes, precision painting and the like. So these cuff links aren’t just a means of expression they’re collectibles and heirlooms as well.
As we’re about to enter into the season of giving, the following images might provide some inspiration for the clothes horse on your list who “has everything.”
Please be aware, that there is only one of each shown. so if you want it don’t delay!

Yes, we know… It’s a tad early to be talking about anything “warm and fuzzy”, but trust us. These pull overs from True Grit will be gone, and soon.
