It’s hard to believe right now, but any moment the winds of fall will begin to blow in. And in typical East Tennessee fashion, the cooler temperatures will arrive and the beautiful colors of the season will emerge. It will be a time of heading to the mountains, bourbon by a fire and a Saturday at Neyland. It will also be a time to think about sweaters, cords, flannels and these beauties.
Here at the M. S., the odd jacket is the wardrobe foundation for the man with style, and we have plenty of them just for you if you should be that man. We’re happy to present selections from Canali, Samuelsohn, Southwick, Empire, Crittenden, Hickey Freeman and a particularly eye catching jacket from Coppley. They all match wonderfully with our trouser separates, shirts from Eton and a variety of neckwear. Don’t forget a pocket square for an extra bit of sprezzatura.
It’s that time of year again. Time for pomp and pageantry, mint juleps, big – BIG – hats, seersucker and all the other whatnot that goes into the “First Saturday in May.” Of course, it’s all over in two minutes which begs the question what are you to do for the hours leading up? That’s easy….put your best foot forward, imbibe in some fine Kentucky Bourbon and do it all in colorful style.
